Lockheed Martin F-35 Plant Tour
The Fort Worth Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Plant is the home of the F-35 production line. LM Aero representatives will give a 2.5 hour guided tour which includes a presentation on the aircraft and production facility. Participants will tour the production line by golf cart and finish with hands-on experience in the F-35 Cockpit Demonstrator Simulator (CDS).
Additionally, LM Aero is coordinating to have their F-35 Cockpit Demonstrator established in our Ready Room, allowing “Hands-On” demo of how the cockpit is configured along with a visual of how the F-35 handles & employs its weapons. This tour has a maximum capacity of 40 guests. (Limited to 40 Attendees per Tour, Registration required on AFRI’s registration page!)
National Medal of Honor Museum
A celebration of the human spirit, the National Medal of Honor Museum honors the inspiring lives and legacies of ordinary Americans who took extraordinary action in the service of others. Opened in the spring of 2025, the NMOHM is a museum that honors United States Armed Forces Medal of Honor recipients. Founded and funded by the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, this Museum serves as the premier national institution dedicated to the stories, impact and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients.
Enjoy main exhibits such as Moments of Action Exhibits, More Than a Medal Exhibit, and interactive exhibits. If you’re looking for an experience that will leave you inspired, humbled, and profoundly moved, the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas is an absolute must visit. This extraordinary museum is a powerful tribute to the courage, sacrifice and valor of our American heroes who went above and beyond the call of duty, often at the ultimate cost. Golf Tournament
Join your fellow Fighter Foray mates for a scramble golf tournament on Wednesday, 14 October. The range will be open at 10:45 for those that wish to warm up. Plan on an ROE brief at 12:30 followed by a shotgun start at 13:00. LADIES ARE WELCOME!! The event will be held at Irving Golf Club (https://www.irvinggolfclub.org) approximately 20-minutes from the Hyatt. Your entry fee will cover green and cart fees, range balls, a deli box lunch and two soda/water/beer tickets.
There will be cash, PXG and Ping clubs as prizes for closest to the pin and long drives plus the overall winning team. There will be a limited number of rental clubs available so please advise if you need to reserve a set. Transportation from the Hyatt will be via POVs, rental cars and Lyft/Uber. Double A Bourbon was made to honor the path of a man and meet them where they are on their journey. Double A Bourbon is hand bottled in Smithville, Texas and is a proud supporter of the 2026 Marine Fighter Foray.
The tasting event begins with a flight of six bourbon whiskeys’ tasting event, which you will rank in order of preference, and then the Double A team will discuss the results and trends. After which, you will be provided with a flight of three Double A Bourbon Whiskey’s to taste end enjoy, complimented by descriptive commentary on the flavors you are enjoying. Finally, you will be offered a cocktail made with Double A Bourbon to complete the experience. This will no doubt be a most enjoyable afternoon event for those who fancy exceptional bourbon such as Double A Bourbon Whiskey offers. (Registration required on AFRI’s registration page! Dealy Plaza Museum and Historical Landmark
