After the successful 2022 Marine Phantom Phoray, the Steering Committee made a pivotal decision: to broaden our scope. The Marine Fighter Foray now proudly embraces all Marine Fighter Communities. This expansion ensures that every Marine fighter family will always have a platform to gather, connect, and uphold the traditions that define us. This inclusive approach fosters a vibrant community where shared experiences and mutual respect thrive, keeping our legacy alive for generations to come.
Open to All Enlisted, Officer and Families of a Marine Fighter Community
What makes the Marine Fighter Foray unique is its inclusive nature. We encourage all current-former officer and enlisted members and their families of any Marine fighter attack squadron to attend. This commitment reinforces the steering committee’s desire to include and unite the entirety of all Marine Fighter Communities. The invitation to attend also extends to exchange personnel from other branches of the U. S. military who were temporary members of a U.S. Marine fighter-attack squadron.
Defining Camaraderie, Reliving History and Learning About the Corps's Aviation Future
At the Foray, we practice what Marines do best: continue to define camaraderie by reliving and sharing tales of the past while learning about the future of Marine Aviation. Our gatherings provide a unique setting where “senior” Marines meet and talk fighter-attack jets with “younger” Marines, bridging generations and preserving invaluable institutional knowledge. We remember and honor our fellow Marines who have filed their final flight plan, ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten while honoring those who staff the squadrons today. You will forge new friendships and strengthen existing bonds, thereby reinforcing the tight-knit and unique community that defines us as the elite Marine Corps Fighter-Attack Dogfighters.
